I think most of you have just watched Transformer 2: Revenge of the Fallen. Today we are going to take a look at this robot themed mmorpg: Transformer Online, just published by netease (NTES), a Nasdaq listed company from China. Currently the game is in so called Closed Beta – although everyone can register and play with a promise: no wipe.

There are totally 4 types of class for you to choose when creating a new character. They are: Hammer, Tank, Battle Plane and Chopper. It seems the game has copied a lot of concepts from the real Transformers: the class setting is just like settings for Transformer: Autobots and Decepticons.

The most interesting part of the game that we have found for now, is the transformation part. When you reach Lv.9, you can transform to a car or a plane according to the different classes.

Besides that, we didn’t find this game that much interesting comparing to netease’s other games such as Tian Xia II. The battle effects are really out dated; same old quests and same old storylines.

We think the stock price for NTES will definately drop since Tian Xia II didn’t perform very well in China. And this old-designed game will make greater loss to the company as well.

We have played Tian Xia II for quite a while. We devoted our weekend to this game and all answers lead to a good WOW clone. And not only clone, it has a lot improvements on World of Warcraft. We are pretty sure the Netease’s stock price will go high again, even in this ecnomy crisis.

The game is neat, and quest languages are really nice. Quests are designed very well… I really hope all you guys understand Chinese and give it a go:) Maybe this game will win the top 10 MMORPG award hold in the end of the year by fmmorpg.com.

Today we have had the chance to revisit Tian Xia II, a well designed free Chinese MMORPG published by Netease, one of the biggest and largest portals and game publishers in China.

To our surprise, Tian Xia II has changed a lot! We still remember the quirks from the last version of the game…but 1 year has passed and the game has changed a lot. There are now 8 classes you can choose from and this time we picked a wizard in game.

The first few levels are a piece of cake. But to our surprise, even we entered the most crowded server, we didn’t see anyone else playing on this server. Where have all the people gone? This reminds us the same situation in World of Warcraft, the great newbie drought!

The skill effects are awesome! And the graphics are pretty! We have to compare this game with WOW and we wanted to find the problems with the graphics, but we failed. We can say with complete confidence that we give a 10 to graphics.

As you can see from the above picture, it’s a boss monster but we dare not touch it…And it looks so big and powerful. We will take it down when (if!) we are strong enough, lol…

So far, we like the game settings and the newbie section. We can see helpful information everywhere. You can either use your mouse or AWSD to move around. You won’t get lost because there is the GPS system both in the quest panel or in map. Quests are pretty easy and you won’t have to worry about your HP! Just enjoy the skills, killing and the RPG part, the game story!

Hello guys, you haven’t seen me for quite a long time right? Haha, sorry to keep you waiting for the latest article. Recently I am busy with setting up a game company. Yes, I quitted tqdigital already.

Today I will bring you a brief introduction of TianXiaII, which was made by Netease, the largest internet portal and leading site in China, it also can be found in NASDAQ.

Tian Xia II is a 3D game, which is basically copied from World of Warcraft. But it’s definitely a Chinese version. You can not name your character in English and numbers, which means you can only make a Chinese character name for it. Commonlly in battle, when you lose HP, numbers will come out over your head, but here, not numbers, it’s Chinese “One, two, three..”. You can also find a very Chinese NPC: Earth Grandpa in game, you can ask him for directions. You can also set up booth there by a very cute ghost named “Lian Cai Ghost”.

I did not want to get into the details since I only played that game for a little time. But the graphics are pretty good here. Here are some screenshots:
