Popular “Summer of Love” in-game marriage event will be extended to September 7^th, with winners and prizes to be awarded on September 14^th.

[Shanghai, Sep 4th, 2008] –World of Kung Fu, the free-to-play 3D martial arts MMORPG from VestGame Entertainment, is extending its popular “Summer of Love” in-game event due to player demand. This event allows groups of players get married amid a plethora fantastic decorations, balloons, flower bouquets, fireworks, and other mall items given out for free by the generous GMs. Wedding pictures of the new couples will be posted on the World of Kung Fu Website, with winners to be chosen by the community of World of Kung Fu Players.

One Grand Prize will be awarded on each server to the couple with the best photo. In addition to having their picture up on the World of Kung Fu website, the winning couple will receive 2 Xian Wu mounts and 2 Wish Rings. All entrants will receive a prize for their participation, such as the legendary Sky Pearl, a rare item useful for refining equipment.

Marriages in World of Kung Fu are performed by the GMs after players get their marriage license from the Matchmaker NPC located in the cities of Liuhe, and Bizhou. In addition to a lifetime of marital bliss, married couples also get a 20% experience bonus (upgradable to 50%) on actions performed together. In future upgrades to the game, there will actually be a child rearing system that will allow children to inherit attributes from their parents! The expansion also includes an innovative apprentice system called the Monarch System, which lets seasoned gamers form mutually beneficial partnerships with new players. Masters earn a percentage of the in-game currency spent by their apprentices, while apprentices receive special class-specific items every 10 levels.

Fiesta players looking to "engage" even more with the community should check out the in-game wedding feature. Love-struck gamers can now purchase premium wedding dresses or tuxedos, and can purchase the Wedding Application in order to virtually tie the knot in a special ceremony at the game’s scenic, remote Chapel in the Sky.

New Fiesta players will also find it easier to level up, as monsters between levels 1 and 30 now award 20% more experience. The game’s quest system has also been overhauled with updated text and descriptions.

All Closed Beta accounts have been given cash shop currency, ZEN. This currency can be used in-game to purchase items from our cash shop, however it will be wiped at the end of closed beta on September 2nd.

In order to redeem your ZEN, please follow these steps:

1. Visit the following link: https://billing.perfectworld.com/

2. Log in using your username and password.

3. Select the server that you would like to deposit your ZEN to.

4. Select the amount of ZEN that you would like to deposit. (Note: The conversion rate is 100 ZEN to 1 Gold.)

5. Click on the deposit button and you’re done!

6. Go spend your cash shop currency in-game. You can access the cash shop by clicking the button located under your mini-map or by pressing ALT + O.

(Note: If you are logged in game during the execution of this process, then you must relog in order to see your updated cash shop balance in game.)

Please keep in mind that all characters and ZEN balances will be wiped on September 2nd, the end of our Closed Beta.
