Last time we were about to make a MMOCG list. But due to lots of reasons, the list is not made yet. But we will bring the list to our readers ASAP.

Today we have received a piece of news from Game Entertainment Europe. They told us their 2nd game, Hovorn, an action-packed racing game which you can play online with 8 players simultaneously, is now open beta! If you like racing games, and love cartoon styled games, do have a try!

Leipzig, Germany, August 21^{st –} Game Entertainment Europe announced today that the Beta version of Hovorun has been officially released for Open Beta. Hovorun (www.hovorun.com) is Europe’s first casual online multiplayer racing game. The open beta will be made available for gamers in the European territory including Russia and Turkey. Hovorun is currently available in English and will soon be followed by a Dutch, German and French version.

Hovorun is a 3D casual racing game developed by Korean game developer Lots Entertainment. The game is a Free2Play game and the game client (87MB) can be downloaded for free. The game has many interesting features such as a clan system, a shop with many different items for purchase, high scores tournaments, friends lists and an in game chat.

Users are able to buy GO (virtual credits) to obtain cool items in game for new avatars or to change their avatar with scarves, goggles, helmets etc. Users can also choose the Hovo mode to switch gears for the hovercraft vehicles to enhance their racing skills. And for those who are really good at playing the game, it is possible to use their experience points to buy exclusive items. When gamers start playing Hovorun,  they will receive one Hovo and avatar for free.

What about the 3000 Gold that we have given out on August 20, 2008? Have you spent it all, and now you have no Gold left to buy any other items?

Not to worry. Here is a new way you can earn Gold in LGP Online. We will give you 2 Gold Points for every 2 continuous hours that you are in LGP Online.

The following are detailed rules:

1. Each time you log off, our system will compute how long you are online since the last time you log in. And you will earn 2 Gold Points for every 2 hours that you are continuously online.  Residuals will be rounded off, meaning if you are online for 3 hours and 59 minutes, you will still only earn only 2 Gold Points, and if you are continuously online for 4 hours and 1 minute, you will get 4 Gold Points.  You can take out these Gold Points at the Bullion Merchant in Plume city, when you accumulate at least 100 gold.

2. To prevent cheating, we will only allow 3 accounts per IP address to earn Gold in this method. EVeryday (calendar day based on PST), the first 3 accounts at each ip address will earn Gold, and the fourth account will not be able to earn anything.  So let’s do some math: if you have 3 accounts online all the time, you will earn 24 Gold per account per day, 720 Gold per account per month, and  2160 Gold for all 3 accounts in 1 month. This can buy you some nice things in game.  You can invite your friends or family members to be in LGP with you, and ask them to give you their gold hehe.

3. We are not responsible for any "unlucky events" that cause you not to receive the Gold: For example,  you got DCed due to some poor network connection at 1 hour 59 minutes, and did not get the Gold; Or we have to maintain the server that forces you to disconnect at 1 hour and 58 minutes.  This is a free benefit to make you happy, and  we do not wish to turn it into something that creates trouble, dispute or unhappiness.

4.  This is a promotional event and we may make adjustment or terminate this event any time. 

5. You can also buy LGP Gold using real money in the future, but we do not intend to do this anytime soon.  You can also participate in some other events (such as write game reviews, etc) to earn Gold.

If you have read the famous fiction: Demi-Gods, Semi-Devils, you will know that there are totally 9 factions in the book. According to the book, there are 9 factions in the game as well. I think most of you know about Shaolin Kung Fu. Shaolin is a faction in this game. For more details, you can search wikipedia about the factions of Kung Fu in ancient China. In this game, different factions will grant you different basic attributes of a character. For example, if you joined Shaolin faction, you distribute your points to HP or Attack will grant you more power than those in Xingxiu faction, according to the official introduction(We haven’t practised this yet since limited of time). But it is definately interesting when different people from different factions PK.
